It’s true, summer is over and the leaves are changing. Well at least here in Edmonton where we already have snow! And while spirits plummet all around me along with the temperature, I have to confess, I’m kinda of liking it! A busy summer visiting friends and family at the lake has come to an end and as much as I enjoyed it, I find myself eager to get back to a routine and time to relax and be creative. Next week the weather will improve, the snow will melt and we’ll be left with a colorful array of dangling leaves and a carpet of those that fell to the ground with the snow. It will be fall clean up time here and at the lake, signalling the coming of the autumn “chill out” season where the fireplace is on and the hustle and bustle of summer fades away with the tan lines of my flip flops. The truth be told, I’m looking forward to Fall and all the time it avails me before the Christmas frenzy to relax, be creative and to be “fally” content.
