Christmas Cuteness: Henry and the Santa Hat

When Henry joined our family it was a special day. Our grandsons were getting older and after 35 years of having children around, be it our own kids or our grand children we found ourselves feeling somewhat alone. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had kids since I was one so having the time to expand on our own personal horizons was exciting too but awfully quiet! We survived the empty nest phase only because it was short lived and grand kids came early but suddenly  the grand kids were busy with activities and friends and there just seemed to be less laughter (and less mess and less noise)  in our lives  and then came Henry!

This little guy, while somewhat mischievous was such a wonderful addition to our family and he brings us the gift of laughter and love every single day. The first year I was more exhausted than when I had a new born, at least babies don’t chew up your flip-flops or eat the cheese platter when you leave the  room . There was a learning curve to be sure but well worth it. I’m looking forward to another Christmas with our Henry and now that he knows what he can chew and what he can’t there will be more HO HO HO and less NO NO NO.

  1. We are a family in transition our oldest 2 are 22 n 24 youngest 19 and 13. No grandbabies yet but i relate to the “quiet” we have 3 dogs and 3 cats and I as long as i am able and hubz to care for them will have 1 of each. Our 2 year old dog ate our elf on the shelf as a puppy and our kitten now 8month half maincoon (so he is a large boy? Has been at my halloween tree and now both christmas trees, not to mention he steals my supplies as I am crafting lol

  3. I LOVE DOGS though I am not familiar with their breeds but as long as it is a dog(but I am scared of the huge ones)I would love to play and cuddle. I once have had. A normal dog I should say(no breed). He was the little bundle of joy in my life until he passed away. I really lamented and cried to death everyday! His name is K9. Your Henry is sooo adorable! I can bite him haha! Kisshhy kisshhhy!!!
